Being a blogger, photography
is part and parcel of our work. Shooting for products, OOTD and blog shops
advertisements - they come in different forms and hence it is imperative that I
get a trustworthy and an easy-to-use camera that will save me the hassle to
read through the manual to be able to operate it. So! Today I'm going to share
(or rather follow up) with all of you on the Samsung GALAXY K zoom LTE version.
It was the one that I took to Japan with me and I am pleased to say I'm
satisfied with the capabilities and convenience it brought me.
The Samsung GALAXY K zoom LTE is a follow up
model of its predecessor Samsung GALAXY S4 zoom With LTE, only that it is
packed with more powerful features and specifications, in the market of
camera-specialised smartphones. Operating on the latest Android™ 4.4 (Kit Kat),
this smartphone cum camera is available in 3 colours - charcoal
BLACK, shimmery WHITE and electric BLUE! Sporting a 4.8 inch display screen, it
is only 0.3 inches shy of the gigantic screen that Samsung GALAXY S5 LTE
offers. But well, that's not the highlight of this phone. Rather, the real bomb
is the 20.7 megapixel BSI CMOS Sensor with its 10x optical zoom. With this, we
can bid farewell to grainy quality photos when we snap a photo while zooming
in.

Samsung K zoom LTE. The camera is touted to include Optical Image Stabilisation
to reduce blurring associated with camera shaking, and the Xenon flash instead
of the typical LED flash which is said to be brighter and travels further than
LEDs, providing a more natural tone especially in low light areas.

All I can say is that it really lives up to its name. Period.
Good news for all selfie
addicts. The new feature available in this phone is its "Selfie
Alarm" Mode which enables you to select the area of the frame where you
want your head to appear then when you turn the camera around, it'll play a
tone and snap the picture when everything's lined up. It even gives you three
shots to choose from, with Beauty Face Mode switched on automatically!
Accompanying this cool feature is Samsung's wide range of Smart Modes. In
total, there are 28 types, each setting apt for different scenarios. Taking for
instance, the Beauty Face mode which also comes best with the Selfie Alarm, assures
the selfie photos to be in tip top condition, Instagram-ready without the need
for further beautification.
One of the Smart Modes, the
Pro Suggest Mode, using a sophisticated algorithm, it analyses the world
through the lens, detects the scene aspects and prompts 5 optimised setting
suggestions for a magnificent shot. Together with it, the Pro Suggest Market is
a place where you get to download extra 'films' to increase your arsenal of Pro
settings. How cool is that?!
Last but not least, I would
like to point out the AF/AE Separation (Auto Focus/ Auto Exposure) function.
Typical smartphones camera will have the auto focus and exposure together,
therefore this limits the creative control of the user. Now, with this function
on the Samsung GALAXY K zoom LTE, there is no need to compromise good focus for
good exposure. You can have both at the same time! It is the solution to
precise balance of light and clarity, only limited to the user's creativity and
preference.

I have almost listed
out all the must buy features of a good camera smartphone. If you are
contemplating what smartphone to get, you should really put some serious
thought to this phone that I just promoted. It's definitely good to go if you
are one who plays with camera casually and frets having too much gadgets to
