It doesn't seem like the wanderlust in my blood is putting on hold after my Japan trip. It can't stop, I need more getaways! Life is too short for us to be slogging our lives working day in, day out.
Here I am, nicely positioned at the seafront, admiring the picturesque view of the beach at Batam. This is the time when the heart, body and soul get a deserving rest and unification after being battered by the fast-paced lifestyle in the bustling city.
Checked in at the Montigo Resorts. This place is a living paradise on Earth - enveloped in a luxurious and elegant setting, the comfort level is as high as I am feeling at that point in time. Everything was in the right mix (the place, the people, the activities) and how I wished the clock could stop ticking for just a day. Ok, not to be greedy, how about an hour? So that I can maximize my enjoyment of the stay!

Day 2
If only I can wake up every single day, to find myself with a pool at the balcony and a magnificent view. Then, I will definitely look forward to waking up every morning and having no trouble in picking myself out of my gravity-intense bed.
Usually, a complimentary breakfast in any hotel is always the standard international buffet breakfast. Somehow, I really like this type of breakfast, because of the wide variety of food to choose from and also probably due to the fact that this kind of breakfast is affiliated to staycations or getaways! If I like getaways, I would probably like anything that ties along with it.
Time really flies. In no time, I have to bid goodbye to this 2D1N getaway and slammed BACK to reality. Yet another post overseas syndrome~ Till then.
