Bangkok Day 1

Greetings people! After a lengthy hiatus, I'm finally back in action! To be honest, the past month hasn't been all smooth sailing. Having to grapple with the tribulation of a broken relationship was never a child's play for me. Well, I must say I am indebted to family and friends who have been tolerating my nonsensical requests, accompanying me and generously injecting consoling words to aid my broken wound. Don't worry guys, I'm in one piece right now, enjoying my fun-filled days of singlehood!

Best friend, Jovin, was my biggest motivation. Knowing that I am in my down times, she showed approval spontaneously when I initiated a short getaway to Bangkok together. At the work of fate, I came to befriend two guys, namely Matthew and Wilson, who have guided and planned the entire Bangkok trip for us. They gave us a wholly unique face of what Bangkok has to offer, which I used to think of Bangkok solely as a shopping paradise.

On the first night in BKK, they brought us to Chocolate Ville. I was very pleased with their lighting decorations for the festive season and often found myself drowned in the alluring music playing in the air . Every moment seems so magical and dreamy that I thought I was in my utopia.

The best combination ever - Sirloin steak accompanied by red wine.

Before we knew it, Jovin and I were actually frantically snapping photos from time to time, not wanting to miss any perfect looking moments.

When we got back to our hotel, the first thing to do is to fill up the Jacuzzi tub with hot water and foams (the work of spamming the soap).

Soaked our wearisome body in the tub for a well-deserving 30 mins and I could feel every inch of my muscle loosen up. Ahh.. Life's good. With that soak, the payoff was really a good sleep for the night. And that's the end of Day One.

Til then, Bye
XOXO
