Easy come, easy go, that's just how you live.
Here goes my short weekend break. But on a happier note, the days are getting closer to the return of boyfriend from his Brunei trip! To my surprise, I managed to let pass two weekends without him. But still, I really miss him loads and want him back to my side as soon as possible! Lonely girlfriend.
Went for a singing session on Saturday afternoon and managed to learn a couple of new songs.
Next up, set off to Nook DIY pancake house. I have been tempted to try their pancake the last time I walked past that area. So here I am..
Nook, House of Pancakes, is the first DIY pancake house in Singapore! It's situated at Bukit Timah, Lorong Kilat (Just that you know the entire street is filled with this kind of exquisite eateries ranging from Carpenter & Cook, Udders and many more!)
They have customized table whereby they have griddle in the middle for everyone to create aka "draw" and flip their own pancakes! Super cool and fun! On top of that, they have a running list of toppings for you to pick on.
I ordered Funky Banana for my one-flavoured pancake and the set itself also allows for 3 choices of toppings.
Here are my toppings: M&M, caramelized apples and lastly my favourite delight banana slices!
Just me pouring the Funky Banana into the squeezer bottle..
Here's some of the pancakes that I've drawn.. Haha..
My cute chicken integrated with minion head (despicable me).
The meal was rather appeasing and enjoyable. The "drawing" of the pancakes reminisced some childhood memories of my art lessons. Haha, I rate it a 8/10 for the unique and wholesome experience that I can't find it elsewhere.
You will never fail to enjoy piping hot pancakes at your own eating pace. No hurry to finish them all as you can choose to cook it when you're ready for the next one. One down part for this place is that it's slightly overpriced. But having said that, I'll absolutely return here for their rainbow pancakes!
So for those of you who have yet to try and feeling a little bit rich, you can get an accompany to get it a try. It will be worthwhile.
XOXO
