Carpenter and Cook
A vintage-cum-artisan bakery cafe in Singapore.
Miki and I visited the Carpenter and Cook cafe at Lorong Kilat (Yes, the same place as the previous entry). I was awestruck by the vintage furniture and home decor. I believe the owners must have put in great thought and effort before this shop became reality. Cause it's really amazing! and guess what, they even played the most classical musics in the shop!
Howbeit, the desserts were not up to my expectations. I find that their desserts were too sweet for my taste bud. You got to gulp down tonnes of water after devouring their desserts. In addition, their range of desserts were unsatisfactory. There wasn't much choice for us to select from.
In anyway, it was the great company that Miki provided that makes the day great. Hope to meet her soon again.
