Loy Kee Chicken Rice
Dental appointment as usual at Joo Chiat road, this time with Jovin, my lovely bestie ever since secondary school. Kudos to her great patience. Haha. Made her waited for almost 2 hours while I get my braces fixed.
Since she came back from her long Korea trip, no doubt she is craving for some local food. Being her best friend for the longest time, knowing her inside out, I knew it at once she was referring to our very own Singapore's chicken rice. Hence, we headed down to Balestier to satisfy our chicken rice craving.
When we entered the restaurant, we're overwhelmed by the fragrance of the chicken rice. The fragrance made us went totally crazy and so dying to get a plate of chicken rice!
Frantically, we browsed through their menu and much to our delight their set meals are rather affordable. Chicken, a bowl of rice, vegetables and soup just for $7. A great deal for such great food and taste.
Hmm.. I should start a countdown to how many days before I can remove this irritating braces!! Can't wait to enjoy more great food without any difficulties.. Alright, just stay tuned.
