Rendezvous
Friends can be made easily - when two strangers meet, they appeal to one another, click along together well enough, that's it. But, true friends are rather hard to find. They are those who genuinely care for you, be it your hard times or good times, they will be there to share the sorrow and joy with you. I'm glad that up till today I dare to say I have few of these friends in my life!
It was a belated birthday outing with Lik Sheng. We had our lunch at Ramen Champion, the food served wasn't really fantastic. The saltness of the food was overload, accompanied with a viscous soup base (which I hate), and the Ramen was not up to my expectation of being those traditional hand-made ones. Not sure whether if the serving is overly generous or I simply doesn't like the food, I did not managed to finish it.
After the unsatisfying lunch, we made our way to Tangs to get his birthday present. It was a guess watch. This watch also signifies our long lasting friendship. Hereby, I sincerely hope that our time will not come to an end no matter how long it is and this friendship will be a valuable one just like a vintage watch.
Later on, we proceed on to our dinner at Prive cafe. Oh, it was my first date location with boyfriend. Memories start to gush into my mind and the inside me can't stop giggling in joy when we stepped in the place. I specially bought Lik Sheng to this place to experience the comforting windblow and spectacular view of the sea and yachts that lined along.
We're loving this place, not just because of the ambiance but also their food was good. As I have to rush to Changi to meet my boy, it was a pity and bad of me not sending him home. In any ways, thanks for the day, Lik Sheng. It's been a good one.
