Soon after we are done, we made our way to The Cathay for dinner. There's this one thing that is peculiar to us, is that both of us get hungry and satiated readily. One moment we are goddamn hungry, the next moment we are bloated. Yes, that's how easy it can get! Haha!
I knew there's a DIY maki over here at The Cathay that we have never been to. Ergo, the curious us decided to give it a try!
M(-a-)ki San is actually a DIY Maki shop whereby you get to customize your maki to your own liking fresh and innovative idea!
We ordered a Mega-san which consisted of 1 wrap + 1 rice + 5 essentials + 1 sprinkle + 1 house sauce! I will like to recommend their fried mushrooms, teriyaki chicken and sesame sauce. They are incredibly nice!!
This is probably the humongous maki ever! Not to mention that their lovely boss, actually gave the two of us a complimentary iced lemon tea drink each!
After gobbling down just a few makis, we're ultimately full. Astoundingly, that few makis can be so filling. Haha.
How blissful am I to have my longest best friend to meet up with, even with all the different schedules that we have. So guys, if you've been busy working or studying and have no spare time for your closest friends, do send them a text or give them a call to remind them that they're still on your mind. It's never too late to show your love and concern to someone you love.
